First Tee — Greater Austin relies heavily on volunteer support to make our programs successful.  We offer programs for our participants year-round and have a wide range of opportunities to get involved.  Most of our golf volunteer positions do not require golf experience.  We provide the necessary training and support and our programs take place at 8 sites:

  • Harvey Penick Golf Campus in EAST Austin
  • Balcones Country Club in NORTHWEST Austin
  • Bastrop River Club in Bastrop
  • Crystal Falls Golf Club in Northwest Austin 
  • Jimmy Clay Golf Course in SOUTHEAST Austin
  • Onion Creek Golf Club in SOUTH Austin
  • Pin Seeker’s Golf Lounge in NORTHWEST Austin (NEW)
  • TopGolf Austin by the Domain

We’re looking for a diverse group of volunteers from the Austin metro area to help deliver our character-building programs. Our chapter of First Tee operates year-round and heavily relies on the help of volunteers at our program sites. Golf experience is not required to make a difference. Read more

Drive Youth Empowerment as a Volunteer

Starting in 2020, we will be having “Green Team” Volunteer days on the first Friday & Saturday of the Month!

1st Friday of the Month at 3-5pm
1st Saturday of the Month at 10:30am-12:30pm & 2-4pm

These scheduled volunteer times will be primarily for beautification projects on the golf course, we welcome anyone who wants to join!

Intern with Us!

We’re looking for highly motivated college students to join our team as interns for the spring, summer, and/or fall.

Our interns play a key role in planning and executing our fundraising events and youth programs. They gain experience with our nationally recognized brand and prominent sponsors in an environment that promotes teamwork, fun, independence, and accountability.
